It’s Beginning
Also, Noah (who just turned 3) has begun practicing the art of the written word. Rach (mostly) and I (somewhat) have both practiced printing with her a little bit. But she took us both by surprise last Saturday night at church. During the announcements or something, she found a pencil and a Welcome Card. Suddenly she turns to Rach and says, “Mommy, I wrote my name.”
I scanned the original for you to see. I left my hand in the picture to show you how small she printed it. This is no 5 inch high “N” and 10 inch wide “A” we’re talking about here. It actually shocked me. I knew she could make an “o” or a circle, but that was about it.
I know, I know, she used a capital “H” and the end of her name. Well, I’ve already spanked her for that and she knows to never make that mistake again.
An "a" is a "circle with tail on it". :-)

Sweet. Caleb can count to 20... Sometimes. And knows his alphabet... Mostly.
Nice. Ayla drove us home from the theatre last night. A bit of a lead-foot, but not too bad.
Kids are so sweet.
